Ferritin (Iron) Rapid Self Test

The Ferritin Rapid Test uses a sample of blood via a simple fingerstick, which is then placed on the test cassette. If your ferritin levels exceed 30ng/ml, a colored line will appear in the test region, confirming sufficient iron storage. If the line does not appear, your ferritin levels may be low, indicating a potential iron deficiency.

• Prepare for Testing: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Allow the test components to reach room temperature.

• Collect the Sample: Use the provided lancet to gently prick the side of your fingertip (recommended: ring finger). Collect the blood using the capillary dropper until the blood reaches the designated line on the dropper.

• Apply to the Test Cassette: Squeeze the dropper bulb to release the blood sample into the sample well on the test cassette.

• Add Buffer Solution: After the blood is dispensed, add 1 drop of buffer solution from the included bottle into the sample well.

• Wait for Results: Wait for 5 minutes for the test to develop. A colored line will appear if ferritin levels are above the 30ng/ml threshold. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.

Storage: Store the test kit at room temperature (2-30°C) in a dry place. Do not freeze.

Expiration: Ensure the test is used before the expiration date printed on the package.

Test Once: The test is for single-use only. Dispose of used tests according to local regulations.

Safety: Keep out of reach of children. Do not eat, drink, or smoke near the testing area.
